Meet Our Play Therapy Team
Our Clinical Director

Hannah Miller
LPC, LPC-S Candidate
Hannah Miller, currently pursuing a PhD at Cambridge Univeristy, specializes in working with parents and children. Transitioned to a virtual role, Hannah helps parents work with their children at home using Child Parent Relationship Training (CPRT) rather than bringing their child into the office for in-preson sessions. She believes that though therapists have some power in their one hour a week to make an impact on their child, most of the power lies with the parents at home. This is why she is passionate about parent coaching and CPRT as an effective and collaborative child and family therapy tool.

Hannah's PhD research focuses on the role of play in child development and resilience building.

We have three locations across Charleston with therapy offerings, including clinical mental health counseling, parent coaching, occupational therapy, and play therapy. Positive and holistic health looks different for everyone, thus taking the courageous step towards a healthier holistic life can take many forms. Through The Play Therapy Center of Charleston you can seek out the personal care you need, in whichever realm you feel best fits your needs.

Child Play Therapy
The Play Therapy Center of Charleston works with young children between roughly the ages of 3 and 10. We operate from a client-centered play therapy modality and believe that all children have what they need to facilitate healing in their lives through the power of play.
OT & Floortime Therapy
Our practice is dedicated to helping parents and families through sensory and occupational difficulties. Through our OT and Floortime offerings, our goal is growth and understanding and measurable positive change as we cultivate the best care possible for children and families.

Parent Coaching
Life is busy, and thus, along with in-person options, The Play Therapy Center also offers virtual meetings and parenting sessions to those who are not able to bring their children into the office, or who simply prefer the parent skill building option rather than in-person child therapy.
Contact us to begin your journey to fulfilling and restorative holistic health.
